Fleet Landing Retirement community asked me to talk to them about creating the 25 foot tall sunflower mural that I painted in Murray Hill this past summer. I started the project in May and worked night and weekends through the unveiling on July 8th. This mural was the 9th mural to go up as part of the Murray Hill Mural Project that Jason Tetlak organized for MHPA Murray Hill Preservation Association. This project was conceived as a beautification project for the area.
I am compiling a list of the murals and making a flyer so people can take a mural tour. I have a few more ideas up my sleeve.
