The Sex Show at Fusion Cafe

Green People Series

The Sex Show was a group show hosted by the Fusion Cafe in the Five Points Shopping District. Artist contributed artwork related to the theme. The group started a whisper campaign that there would be a live nude sex show at the opening and this did the trick of getting the local news media to show up. I showed my Walk Away painting, had dancers Linda Bigbee and Gretchen Glassnapp perform in the green neon suits. I also had a two dancers body paint each other live but they were not fully nude and no actual sex happened so there was no arrests made.

UF Art Show

Green People Series

The University of Florida Women’s Studies hosted an art show for my Green People series of paintings. I created performance for the opeing party. I worked with a dance professional Audrey Campbell to corigrapy the birth of the Green People, hatching from eggs. The dancers work black danskin with hand painted, glow in the dark, neon green lines. The stage was lit with black light so all you could see were the glowing lines moving.
